SEOAI traffic
AI traffic
See how many visitors ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and other AI assistants send you, and how much revenue they bring.
Pulsora puts every referred visit in a channel: AI assistant, search or social. The AI traffic panel on the Analytics page shows the AI channel. It needs no setup: it works from the referrers Pulsora already records.
What the panel shows
- AI visitors in the period, compared with the previous period of the same length.
- Share of visitors: AI visitors as a share of all visitors.
- Revenue from AI: revenue from sessions that started from an assistant. It needs revenue tracking.
- A daily chart, and one row per assistant with visitors, conversion rate and revenue. Click a row to filter the whole page by that assistant.
The Sources panel also has an AI tab with the same assistants.
Assistants Pulsora recognizes
| Assistant | Referrer hosts |
|---|---|
| ChatGPT | chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com |
| Perplexity | perplexity.ai |
| Claude | claude.ai |
| Gemini | gemini.google.com, bard.google.com |
| Copilot | copilot.microsoft.com |
| DeepSeek | chat.deepseek.com |
| Meta AI | meta.ai |
| Grok | grok.com |
| Mistral | chat.mistral.ai |
| You.com | you.com |
| Phind | phind.com |
Subdomains count too, so www.perplexity.ai is Perplexity.
Visits without a referrer
ChatGPT often opens links without a referrer but adds utm_source=chatgpt.com to the URL. Pulsora counts a visit as AI traffic when it has no referrer and its utm_source is one of the hosts above.
Limits
- The panel uses the selected date range and ignores other filters.
- An assistant that sends no referrer and no
utm_sourceshows up as direct traffic. Nothing in the request identifies it.
